On Stage: Mikko Vaismaa & Heikki Vilja
Mikko Vaismaa – “A crude guy!” …said no one ever.
Mikko is the black sheep of the comedy world—no dirty jokes, no swear words. Definitely not teenage-approved. That’s why, ten years ago, he left his successful teaching career to pursue stand-up full-time.
His sharp situational awareness and unbelievable ability to keep the audience engaged come from his “dark past” as a teacher. He never turns his back on the crowd—literally.
Mikko is like the Robin of stand-up—zero street cred, yet still a total boss. Oh, and he skis, orienteers, and sails. Sometimes all at once.
Heikki Vilja – The most unusual shepherd in Christmas play history (according to his Finnish teacher).
On stage, Heikki talks about what matters most to him—himself. As a father of two daughters, he delivers an honest, exhausted, anxious, yet deeply happy take on family life. But don’t worry—his opinions extend far beyond parenting. Most importantly, he’s a great company.
